Dear Experts
As I have understood, if you may examine the following commands it will work. It is for Solaris 8 on Sun workstations.

lpstat -t
cat /etc/lp/Systems
lpsystem -t bsd hplaser
cat /etc/lp/Systems
lpadmin -p hplaser -s hplaser
lpadmin -p hplaser -s hplaser -T ps -I any
enable hplaser
accept hplaser
lpstat -p


Before this the printer has to be introduced in /etc/hosts
