pop3 service- howto?

Hello ,,
the problem has been solved although another one arised
this is how it was fixed ( if anyone needs it in the future )
I D/L imap4.xxxx from redhat as a RPM package ,, installed it and it works fine now with no problems as long as the the username and passwords are correct ( valid user )
anyway looking for it was kinda hard cause redhat's FTP was down ( and still ) and most of the mirrors has removed 6.2 appls
now, ,,, another quistion :
do I have to add a user+pass for every email I want or is there another way to do it ?
the pop I have installed is ipop3d

i had no problem with that.
now being with unix console, i want to retrieve pop3 mails, using fetchmail.
(where i can browse my mailbox(es) later)

2. top domain for my Internet connection, like 204. something.

I wish to disable POP3 services in sendmail and just use IMAP. I am running: Version 8.13.4. How do I go about doing this?
According to the config file the Cyrus IMAP/POP3 server is being used so I am not sure how to go about configuring the config file to use only IMAP. (0 Replies)

This is a graphical tool for enabling and disabling services (including xinetd services). Functionality to start, stop, and restart ser- vices is also included. OPTIONS

To run this program simply type: redhat-config-services LIMITATIONS
This utility currently execs chkconfig --add/--del <servicename> when enabling and disabling services. This means that it does not have the same default behaviour as ntsysv. SEE ALSO

- Some services will not start or stop properly if started anywhere but the console (redhat-config-services will appear to hang in these instances). This is not a bug in redhat-config-services, but in the individual services. - Some services are incredibly hard to detect if they are running or not. Starting, stopping and restarting initscripts may give mixed results (ie. may fail if you are stopping a service that's already stopped, etc). This will be fixed; until then it's a bug. AUTHORS
