Did the detective work, but no luck -- -REAL Dummy here!!!
I ran the ps -A command to display all the processes but I did not find any process associated with the TTY that I want deleted (TTY15) A serial Terminal interface. I don't want to kill processes arbitrarily.

I am trying to configure dump devices on my AIX server. Running 7100-03-04-1441. My dump device needs to be about 2GB in size. My PP Size is 1024MB, so I create the device with 2 PPs. kill - send a signal to a process

Description
The command sends the TERM (terminate, 15) signal to the specified processes. If a signal name or number preceded by `-' is given as first
argument, that signal is sent instead of terminate. For further information, see
The terminate signal kills processes that do not catch the signal; `kill -9 ...' is a sure kill, as the KILL (9) signal cannot be caught.
By convention, if process number 0 is specified, all members in the process group (that is, processes resulting from the current login) are
