My answer was deleted [I don't know why] therefore I write it again.

SAM is System Administration Manager and you can config all system with it.

In kernel configuration, you have to increase variable "max_files_open" [or any simillar name - I don't remember] or [better way] incerase macro max_users.

SAM will ask you for reboot ...

cannot mount cdrom with SAM

Hi there, I am building an HP UX 11 server (first time) and I'm trying to mount the CDROM with SAM. What am I supposed to enter in the "mount directory" box? I've just been on an HP Training Course for HPUXv11.31 and found out about the gui / web for SMH. I never did a course on HP11v23.
