I need loadapp to display the correct value which is MS_INDR. It's just displaying itself. Thanks!

I figured it out, I just needed to move around the double quotes. it was an oversight on my part.

The quoting is still dangerous. Your expansion of $essb_load_app is unquoted and might not work properly if the expansion contains any IFS characters. The following would be safer:
