Error difference between pstree and pstree.x11

anyone knows?
both commands lies in /usr/bin

On my Linux box, pstree is a program, pstree.x11 is a link. The first runs, the second runs & waits for a key, probably to keep a xterm open after it's finished.

other than this is there any significant difference in these two commmands?
like in functionality or it is just a link ?

one more doubt as it is soft link to pstree how the output is differ as described by pludi..

If you take a look at the code of pstree, you'll see that there's only one reference to 'pstree.x11', setting 'wait_end' to 1 (line 875). At the end this decides whether to wait for input or not (line 1003). That's it.
