rsync doesn't copy aliases fully

Hi
I use rsync with options -aHv to make backups. Unfortunately all aliases will be copied only partly. Is there an option to avoid this?
Any hint is welcome.
Regards and thanks in advance.

You mean by aliases, hard links, sym-links or something else?

Yeah, I only speak UNIX not MacOS, but they are probably sym-links deep down in their inodes. Do they show a leading l or a link count > 1 on ls -ld ?

rsync may have a thing against some sym-links, like those with incompatible absolute paths. Let me google a bit.
osx alias link rsync - Google Search
Well, some aliases are symlinks:

Some say to switch them to sym-links for rsync, if you do not need the glitzy features Julia describes.
