Hi.
I installed HP UX few weeks ago. It had some problems with DNS resolving, but I have solved it. Before the last shutdown all was fine. Now CDE is not starting anymore (no desktop logon - only console logon). Also mail deamon starts for about 5 minutes, so I removed it from rc2.d. CDE is still not starting. I don't understand why CDE is not starting, nothing changed. The configuration of computer is the same... ![]() Do you have any idea why CDE is not starting and how to make it work again? In other words, I have no GUI at all. What services should I put in rc2.d and rc3.d to start the CDE. P.S. Also, I removed (after CDE was allready not functional) NIS/NIS+ and cim servers and clients. |
