RE: HP-UX Certifications:

Puspendu:

In order to get HP certifications of any type, you first need an HP Student ID#. Call (800) 732-5741 and request a student ID. You will have that for the rest of your HP life. If you already have one, then disregard calling for a number.

Then you can proceed to this website and it will list everything you need and the tests that need to be passed in order to be certified.

http://h10017.www1.hp.com/certification/examinfo.html

Some tests are web based and some are Prometrics (which means you have to go to a testing facility to take the exam).

I hope this helps!

Unix Certification

Thanks Bill. I'll surely look into what you have suggested.

Also i went through what Neo had posted and am really inspired by him.
I am now already one year experienced in shell scripting and am planning to move to some sytem level coding.
I have already started with Stevens...who else better than this fellow.

Puspendu

Puspendu,

HP just changed the course. I strongly suggest you get the new book HP:CSA that just came out recently.

I have an attachment from their website as well, regarding what has changed and what to study now.

Here is the link as well ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/hpcp/epgs/HP0-091_EPG.pdf
Attached Files
File Type: zip HP CSA TEST HP0-091_EPG.zip (164.1 KB, 79 views)
