Can you execute the below command from that user for listing.

sudo -l

When I run the command I get the same error message as shown in the picture on my first post:

I think my first theory of a somehow corrupted "/etc/sudoers" is proven wrong. There might be a remote chance of some hidden control characters (check with "vi"'s list mode), but i doubt it.

It is time to generate some logs and analyse these. Add the following to your "/etc/sudo.conf" (depending on the sudo version you use this might differ):

Debug sudo /var/log/sudo_debug all@warn

where "/var/log/sudo_debug" is your sudo log file - change it to accomodate your installation. Probably there are already some logs there which you could analyse.

Seems sudo is not configured/misconfigured.
Please reconfigure it for the respective user.
Or test with full access,
