hello there, im cire. im new at this here, how long have you joined unix?

You see the date the member joined on the right side at the top of each post.

Or did you mean how long we are working with Unix as an OS? In this case: i started working with Unix systems using DomainOS in the late eighties. I remember having a great time back then - and i sure did have a great time, but i wonder if it was because of the OS or because of being young. ;-))

How do you like it here?

PS: i will take the opportunity to deny rumors that "back in my days" apostrophizes a time when computers had 4 bits and were powered by steam. ;-))
