The chicken was created.

It seems everyone who believes in evolution answers egg and everyone who
believes in creation answers chicken and if you believe in both you say they
are in sync.

Don't know about the Rooster, but there may be something there. Cant have an
egg without a rooster.

I think the chicken came first.

This is actually a very serious question debated by people in history from Aristotle

Just think of all the new breeds of animals that were created by the mating of two different species. The chicken egg came about in the same manner - an early unix developer mated with a cat and voila! Resulting in
- nothing every accomplished
- just makes lots of clucking noises while strutting around
- leaves waste matter everywhere; but tries to bury/hide it
- often falls asleep for long periods of time
