Correct!!

Carl Sagan was an American astronomer and astrobiologist and a highly successful popularizer of astronomy, astrophysics, and other natural sciences. He pioneered exobiology and promoted the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI). He is world-famous for writing popular science books and for co-writing and presenting the award-winning 1980 television series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, which has been seen by more than 600 million people in over 60 countries.

Yeah, that one was easy for me. I was 12 when Cosmos was on TV and I would never miss it. I dedicated my Astrophysics M.S. thesis to my uncle who gave me a copy of the book for Christmas.

Guess it is my turn. If I figured out how attachments work correctly, here is a picture of somebody only tangentially related to computers, but one of the all time greats in his chosen field.

Correct. Your turn.

While World Chess Champion Kasparov played several famous matches against computers, including IBM's Deep Blue which defeated him in 1997. It was front-page news at the time. Since then even commercial chess software you can buy for your PC has progressed to where the computer can beat Grandmasters on a fairly frequent basis.

rhfrommn,
I'm passing the baton back to ya - don't have much time to follow up. Sorry - hope it doesn't break the rules of the game.
