Alright this is nuts but this guy is spam i swear, i think its some one testing his bot:

where i set out to disprove this person as a real user: http://www.macshadows.com/forums/ind...showtopic=6988
http://www.thinkcomputers.org/forum/...ead.php?t=1996
http://www.freelancewriting.com/forums/ind...g8857;topicseen
http://www.solucija.com/forum/viewtopic.ph...&action=new

Theres more just do a google search.

Now to why im here and how i got here well i was out to prove this guy was spam and i searched his post name and you guys poped up and i liked the site so i decided to join. I use OS X mostly, Linux secondly and BSD thirdly. I do some objective-c, c, python, java and a small small amount of ASM. My main interest is in network programing with things like pcap and libnet and recently i have been getting interested in game programing.

You raise an interesting point, it is an odd collection of nearly identical posts. But possibly he just decided to register and post a hello on a variety of websites. We should give him the benefit of the doubt for now. After all, no rule has been broken.

I dont even really care i just mentioned it cause thats how i found the site and no he broke no rule but im sure its a bot cause i dont think that the guy posted this on at least 50 different forums, google search the name of the topic, its pages of that post, its just probably a guy testing a bot.

True, it may be a bot (the sheer variety of sites makes it look like that), but we cannot do anything about it now, can we?

If anyone chooses to develop, test and deploy a bot, that is up to them. If the bot hits this site, then we'll ban the user, maybe ban the IP address. But we can't really do anything more.

Also the shear number of sites that google search goes on for like 5 pages. I really don't care that much I came across It on two forums and did a Google search and came up with a bunch of sites, its not like I'm a spam hunter or anything or even really care that much. I just came across your site and liked it and it seemed appropriate to post there because I came across your site here and I thought I might as well mention it. Find nice sites in the strangest ways Smilie.
