Please give your valuable advice on this. Recently I went to an interview a for a Sybase, Perl and K-shell scripting. I am not worried about the scripting and I love it. I am working in the above mentioned fields.
The Project manager( when I was interviewed) told me that the job is more or like integration and less coding. He mentioned something like 'CAS' a mortgage application, and some windows configuration --integrating and ?????
Can some one guess what could be the integration means? What I understood from the interview is that, ---it is a vendor product which needs to me integrated. I don't know what is the meaning of integration on a UNIX platform? related to windows integration???
All sort of puzzles. Please give your valuable input.
PS: If take the new job my salary will be 20%
hike. So that is the only reason why I want to move on...
