Change Toolbar to Opt In?
Hey!

I'm thinking we should change the toolbar to "opt in" and have it off for members by default?

But then, the would not have toolbar access to the code tag videos, etc. so then I thought to make it "opt in" after say 30 posts. That way, the toolbar will show to all new users with less than 20 or 30 posts, and then go away to "opt in" after than.

What do you think about that idea?

I thought it was a good idea to make it opt-in after n number of posts.

Can you show what it means to opt in? And what is the reasoning behind the change?

For newbies it would be really nice to always have the CODE tag generator button prominently displayed.

For more advanced users it would be nice to be able to see recent updates to the discussion (posted while a response is being composed in a reply window) without having to "go advanced" and selecting "preview post".

A button to generate ICODE tags would also be nice.

Those are very good ideas. The big ticket items we should definitely consider.
