You mean that... you don't know anything about web design and you want to make a web site ? Smilie
Spooky... anyway, as far as I know, you can't find here hosting for that :P
You can start learning html for the beginning. After that you'll know what else you should learn for the web site you want. And hosting you can find in a lot of places, but I don't recommend you a free hosting. Talk to your provider for that...

First - pick a domain name and see if it is available, if so purchase it (they are only about 8 bucks a year). Go Daddy can help you out with the domain and purchasing.

Second - When you sign up with a hosting company (such as GoDaddy) they usually give you free software to begin building your site. Some even give you a basic site (again GoDaddy does this). Using this software, build your site.

Third - use the sites technical support for help. They will help you get the site running. GoDaddy runs linux servers, so when you get to the point of wanting to implement your own PHP, Perl, CGI, Shell scripts etc, then come back here for help!!

One domain provider i was happy with was
HTML Code:
http://www.com
I also recommend Godaddy. One thing to remmeber is do not get frustrated with the domain provider. Most of your first ideas for a domain name would've probably been taken

it sounds good to be true! I was browsing across forums and barely find customers who are really satisfied with their hosting. Now doubt they are #1 domain register.

Seeing as this thread is a discussion about web hosting and not really a UNIX Q&A session, I'll move it to the general discussion forum.

Also; I am moderately happy with my hosting providers. They have generally good uptime (although at present they are setting up a better clustering solution so things are up and down all the time), I am not going to change for a while.

Nor am I going to advertise who they are as they charge enough anyway and I am not sending more profit their way Smilie

Cheers
