Tomorrow Oracle Corporation will introduce Solaris 11 a new generation of Solaris.

Will you try whats new in Solaris 11 ?

Yes, I will.

I have used OpenSolaris for a while on a sandbox machine, and its use quickly tapered off, since the dialect is too different from the garden varieties of linux and bsds that we use in-house. The licensing of the remaining parts of the Solaris do no longer qualify it to be open source. So we will certainly not use it and I doubt it will generate a large following.

I've just installed it at home and am enjoying it. I've been a Linux 'hobbyist' for quite a few years and the performance improvement is definitely noticeable.

I have been around Unix since the early eighties but never had to learn it. Now I am taking the challenge.
