I really wanted to select the last 2 options for voting. But I could only select one.

Judging from the typical overpriced apples I have little to no desire to ever own the ipad. The only and last thing that I own is my iphone that come this October will be replaced my a blackberry.

First off, it doesn't really matter if Adobes Flash is good or not and what Apple thinks about it: i want a device where i can make the decision if it is good enough for my purposes myself. I wouldn't buy a server either, if you allow this analogy, if it tells me that database XY is considered a hazard and therefore not being installed.

Second, i would not buy a device where i have to break into to do anything useful. If the supplier doesn't want me to use his device to its capacity then he should consider not selling it to suspicious people like me.

Third: a replaceable battery doesn't extend a products lifetime, but it extends the time the owner of the device has until s/he needs an available electrical outlet for some time to do recharge. Maybe Apple has done away with this overly technical fact, which just hinders the natural creativity of Apples users and sells "Apple-E-energy" from graphical interface over the web now, but mere mortals like me just don't buy it and still think the operation of electronical devices depends on the availability of electrical current - well, probably I'm just old, not quite up to date or simply:

There might be an alternative, the WePad. From what I've read on Heise (german news source) it's got everything the iPad has, plus Flash, Multitasking, USB ports, open application development, and a Linux base.
