Question Sendmail: Log entry

Hello

Can you tell me what this entry means in the log files:

relay=gtw.powerinternetcr.com [216.25.173.132] (may be forged), reject=550 5.7.1 <aaronzum@gmx.net>... Relaying denied. IP name possibly forged [216.25.173.132]

IS someone trying to use my server for sending spam mail? If so how can I stop this from appearing?

Regards

KS

Your sendmail configuration worked like it was designed to work. The log file entry is a good thing and you want rejections like this one to appear in the log. There is nothing you should change, everything is fine.

this test : http://www.abuse.net/relay.html
is interesting. its also reasuring to see that your mailserver (hopefully) wont be used by spamers.
