After using my imagination a bit I came up with the next. I worked for my problem (isn't probably the best solution though) and maybe the approach could be helpful to others.
here the script:

cd /Users/John/Desktop/Test

sed -n -e 's/ /_/g' -e 's/14_(\([0-9][0-9][_0-9]*\).*/\1.ps/wtemp' *.ps

mv *.ps $(sed '/14/s/.*14_(\([_0-9]*\).*/\1.ps/g;q' temp)

rm temp
