No, not really - DiskSuite is actually Solstice DiskSuite. Just calling it Solstice would not be correct since there are other products with the Solstice name.

Only if you know what device it is from the OBP AND you installed a boot block on it. DiskSuite does not copy the boot block.


Also note there are some other processes you need to be aware of - Restore a mirrored root disk from backup - check out the first few notes especially.
