Bad PBR Sig Operating System Not Found...why ?

Well i install successfully Solaris on my Second Hard disk, although i had to make it primary Master and my orignal hard disk as pirmary slave, because solaris will not let Windows on primary master.

Anyway after installation when i try to boot from hard disk , it shows message

bad PBR Sig Operating System Not Found

what the reason could be ?

I cannot boot solaris even after it showed message, installation completed successfully.

Any comments ?

This bug is filed against the s28_38shwpl1 installer install image. The system
configuration is as below:
HP Kayak XA; 233MHz; 162MB RAM; 16GB IDE + 2.0GB IDE hard disk
The system is installed with two hard disk. The 16GB disk is the primary boot
device. The system is LBA enabled.

When I put the DOSBIG partition at the beginning of the disk, the system will
fail to boot into the cd0 miniroot. Following err message will appear:
Bad PBR Sig.

If I put the DOSBIG partition at the end of the disk, the system will boot into
the cd0 miniroot without problem.

As noted, limit the size of non-Solaris partitions, or move beyond
the Solaris boot partition and Solaris partition.

I believe the problem (in the Sunsolve case) was that the person put a DOS partition over the Solaris partition or bootblock.

Double check how you set up the partitions - the clue is in what the SUN tech wrote:

As noted, limit the size of non-Solaris partitions, or move beyond
the Solaris boot partition and Solaris partition.
