UNIX for Dummies Questions & Answers

hello experts,
the oracle disk1 has finished and the disk location popup screen comes up
with:

please insert oracle9 disk 2 into your disk drive or specify an alternative location.

i insert the disk 2 and click ok but the popup screen stays there and
does not contineu on.

does any one face the same problem or what i am missing?

Is this a commerical version with commercial support?

I agree that Oracle or an Oracle forum (try dbforums.com) may provide better answers. I know when I have installed Oracle Apps, I have had better success creating a staging area on disk with all the CDs copied to that location then trying to flip CDs all day. I have not done this with Oracle 9i, but I assume it would work the same. The only downfall is you need to have the available disk space to copy all the CDs to.
