hyperterm settings for an sgi challenge s server?

i finally got around to splicing a din-8 to db-9 cable that falls under the sgi specs.

however, i can't find anything in the challenge s user manual that gives the needed for hyperterminal to make the serial output come on screen.

can anyone help me out with what i should be?

Since your Challenge S server supports VT-100 and so does Hyperterminal, that would probably work.

See Table D-1 for a brief list of supported terminals.

no, i know that... but what i'm looking for are console settings.

bits per second, data bits, flow control, etc.

I found a copy of the manual online, and it says that an ASCII terminal can be attached with the following options:
9600 baud
8 bits
1 stop bit
no parity

Hope this helps!
