Data Sendmail? Mailx? SMTP?
We require e-mails to come from one of our Solaris 10 boxes ASAP and have found that when using such things as Sendmail and Mailx all the mail goes to a Q that only fires every 15 minutes. We have tried everything we could think of to adjust this to force the Q to go every 1 minute but so far no luck and I can not seem to find anything on the net about it.

So I was thinking of using our Groupwise mail gateway (SMTP) but I am not sure how I would send a e-mail from command line to such a thing?

Any help on any of this would be great.

Well I think I might have figured out some of it. If I do this...
echo This is a test | mail -s 'This is a test' myname@someplacecool.com

This seems to go straight out fast not hitting the Q. Only problem is I can't seem to get the subject line set. It shows up blank everytime.

Any ideas?
