Getting DSL to Work On Redhat.

I have recently had dsl installed, and am wanting to install it on linux, but dont know how because i have to enter a user name and passwd. its on ppp0e, and i had to use the ISP's software to install it and get it working on windows. Linux will be a real challenge, if any of you all have any ideas. lemme know.

You could always, use a DSL/CABLE router as the interface between your DSL Modem and your Linux machine. This way you could attach as many workstation you want to your internet connection.

Redhat comes with a PPPoE client (newer versions do, anyways).
Try it out.

I recently installed RH 8.0 on my friend's laptop computer, and it automatic detected the net card. The rest we did just setup the ip, gateway, etc.. Our DSL ISP gave those information. Same information we used under windows. We didn't have to use any software. I think you can call your ISP for technical support.
