Correct me if I am wrong, by stopping 'iptables' I am actually disabling the firewall, so I can assume that port 21 or any incoming requests are blocked by iptables.

So how can I allow iptables to allow port 21 ?

Hey Guys now that I got ftp to work, is there a way I can have ftp and ftp with SSL or ftps working simultaneously as two different processes.

As in will I be able to setup this machine, so it can be accessed through FTP and FTPS
