I probably would have to say Solaris.. Does it have to be a TRUE Unix? Or would free/open/netbsd or darwin qualify?

To watch movies I assume flash movies on youtube etc?
Your only choices are Solaris / GNU/Linux /Mac OS X if you want native flash support
Read documents & surf internet all the above are also capable of accomplishing them
UNIX you means System V certified
Only Solaris and Mac OS X are your choices

How do I choose the application when opening a file in UNIX?
