Networking Linux 2 windows server
How do i network my linux 7 machine to a windows 98 server.I can ping them but how do i see them in explorer and how can i surf in netscape on my linux machine?

as i understood you want ot see linux partitions as shares , like windows can share your files, folders printers. I see you are very new to unix, but to do what you want you should setup SAMBA server on linux. http://us1.samba.org/samba/samba.html read here.

as for the netscape problem...not quite understand, you mean how can you INSTALL netscape, or what? Netscape is available from netscape.com of course. However, if you can't get netscape to run, type netscape in a console window. If you can't get your Linux box to access the Internet through the Lan, make sure that you defined your gateway in the install....and be more specific next time.

I didn't think Win98 could do Internet conection sharing - I thought it was WinNT & WinME and above?
