Bash Location in Leopard
Hi,

Where is bash located in Leopard? According O'Reilly's "Bash Cookbook" Mac OS 10.2 and newer ship with bash as /bin/sh. But I checked and there is a /bin/bash. Which would I use in my shebang when writing BASH scripts?

You can do "ls -l /bin/*sh" - this will display all files that are named like : "tcsh" ; "ksh" ; "bash", etc. Then you can decide what to put as shebang line, but I think #!/bin/bash is ok, unless your script holds specific variables and commands, related for example, to kshell.
