Log out an unauthorized user via shell

I made a check in my system and found a user that was not suppossed to be in. How can I log him out with my prompt?

I was thinking to implement Squid as a Proxy server to evade this stuff from happening again, to grant access just at specific times and hours, is it a good program to perform this operation?

Thanks in advance,

I'm guessing if the kill command would be a good idea for the UID if i don't want a user to be connected.

Is this a good idea?

You can kill the process which is currently logged in, but you have to notice. If you have had a break-in, you'd better patch the hole which permitted unauthorized access, otherwise it's an uphill battle. If the intruder has had the time to mess with the kernel etc, you might want to reinstall the system from scratch.
