Help with UNIX script

Please help me with this script as I am new to UNIX.

You will need to create a Unix script for each cube named weekrollover.cmd

Unix Script Details
Script parameters:
1. the number of days to shift forward or backward for the day logic ( see below for more details )

The Unix script will perform the following tasks:

1. Get the current date from the Unix server and use that and the shift parameter ( #1 ) to determine the range of weeks and days that the cash 13 weeks will include as well as which weeks are actuals and which ones are forecast weeks.

Here are a couple of examples: (keep in mind that we consider a week Monday through Sunday)

Scenario #1 - Executed on Sunday as scheduled ( with shift parameter as 1 )
Current Date = July 27, 2008
"First Day of Forecast" is Monday July 28th, 2008. ( current day + shift parameter value of 1 )
"Last Day of Forecast" is Wed Dec 31st, 2008 ( Dec 31st of the current year if current month is Jan - Oct. Dec 31st of next year if current month is Nov or Dec )
"First Day of Cash 13 weeks" is Monday June 30th, 2008 ( go back until the first monday that includes the entire current month )
"Last Day of Cash 13 weeks" is Sunday Oct 5th, 2008 ( go forward until the first sunday that includes 2 future months )

Scenario #2 - Re-executed on Monday because it failed on Sunday ( with shift parameter as 0 )
Current Date = July 28, 2008
"First Day of Forecast" is Monday July 28th, 2008. ( current day + shift parameter value of 0 )
"Last Day of Forecast" is Wed Dec 31st, 2008 ( Dec 31st of the current year if current month is Jan - Oct. Dec 31st of next year if current month is Nov or Dec )
"First Day of Cash 13 weeks" is Monday June 30th, 2008
"Last Day of Cash 13 weeks" is Sunday Oct 5th, 2008 ( go forward until the first sunday that includes 2 future months )

Thanks in Advance......
