Tried nmon on CentOS 5 and yea it's a neat tool. But as I've read from some sites, I'll need the nmon analyzer in order to generate a nice 'report with graph and stuff' based on the nmon result. Unfortunately, nmon analyzer doesn't run well though. I got an error when I clicked on the "Analyse nmon data" button. Some macro error - 'BASIC syntax error. Symbol expected'.

looking at the nmon text result, i think it's better for me to go for sar and iostat. as i'm typing this, my ctrl and shift buttons suddenly failed to work. gah Smilie

vmstat is also very nice and available on about most or all types of Unix and Linux.
