How to copy printers to new server

Hi,
I want to setup printers in a SUN solaris server named B

I have the list of my printers in old server (SUN solaris) named A

Can I copy the cofiguration without one by one registering all printer from server A to server B.
If can, how to do that (what command or what files should be copied) to server B ?
Because we have hundreds printer all around country

Thanks a lot.

Hi, We have a Disaster Recovery machine , seperate to our main server. How can I copy all the printer info from our "live" machine to the DR machine. If we then lose our main server , we could still be able to print from a DR machine if needed. Thanks (6 Replies)

xprehashprinterlist - Recomputes the list of available printers. SYNOPSIS
xprehashprinterlist [-v] [-h] DESCRIPTION
xprehashprinterlist causes all Xprint servers to recompute (update) their lists of available printers, and update the attributes for the printers. The intended usage of this tool is that a system administrator can run it after changing the printer topology. OPTIONS
-v generate verbose output -h | -? print usage ENVIRONMENT
XPSERVERLIST ${XPSERVERLIST} must be set, identifying the available Xprint servers. See Xprint(7) for more details. EXAMPLES
Update the list of available printers % xprehashprinterlist -v would print: Rehashing printer list on server 'meridian:34' NOTES
