virtual ip

i have a problem on my SuSE linux box....

this was working all this before just two days ago.... i have found this problem to my network..here is the setup (sample only)

eth0 where my public ip is
eth1 is where the ip use for my staff
eth1:0 is where the ip use for the other computers

the ip in eth1:0 is like this 192.168.10.x and the error was "there was no domain password to validate your account...and access to the server is denied" this is when using the ip in eth1:0 but when i tried to use any ip in eth1 the logon to the server is done or accepted by it. i also checked the routing but it is working and there was even no error logs from the server....

remember i used to access the network before using the eth1:0

pls help me...ty!

Are eth1 and eth1:0 on the same sub-net? The error that you are getting, is this under X Window?
