IE now available for HPUX and SOLARIS

Now that IE is avaliable for HPUX and SOLARIS, will you stick with Netscape or switch to IE?

Maybe someone would like to know about IE for HP-UX and SOLARIS.

Okay okay, can some moderator add Opera to the list?

I wasn't aware that other Browsers worked on UNIX. Sorry...Smilie

BTW Neo, it would be nice to modify my own post, if that is possible to configure. Thanks!

Silly Unix Cat...

I also use Opera under Free/OpenBSD and sometimes Konquerer but mainly Opera. I don't even have Netscape loaded on my FreeBSD machine.

And anyways, everybody knows that real administrators use lynx exclusively. Smilie

I don't think that I would switch over to IE under Unix. There are only a few goodies that I would want from the IE camp. The biggest being the ability to change font size with Control+Wheel Mouse. That is by far the handiest feature I have ever seen. I wish Opera had incorporated this feature.

Are you certain you can't edit your post and add it yourself? I know you can with many forums such as PHPbb based ones, but I'm not sure about this one. It might just be PHPbb for all that I can tell, but if so, it's been heavily edited.

Anyway, try editing that first post of yours and see if it will allow you to add. There should be a "Edit" button on all of your messages.

can only edit the post not the poll, Moderator must do

I have a good deal of exp with HPUX and other mainstream unix flavors.

But, I must admit that I am a newbie when it comes to LINUX variations. I have a 7.x version loaded on an old P1 200 MHZ machine, but I only used that for school projects. I just don't have time to get into that, but I would like to at some point.

I have added the "opera" option at the Op's request.
