Computer Hardware question

Folks;
Is there a command to know if my hardware can run 64-bit or 32-bit?
I'm trying to re-install SUSE 64-bit on one of our server but i'm not sure if this server hardware designed for 32-bit only or for both

Any help?

cat /proc/cpuinfo (in case of ambiguosity look for cpu specs on vendor site/wikipedia)

Thanks, i see the file "/proc/cpuinfo" but i'm not sure how can i tell if the system hardware is 32 or 64-bit.
Could you please give me any hint about the contents of /proc/cpuinfo?

arch

uname -m

uname -a

all will give you the architecture.

Thanks. I know these commands, but i thought these gives you the OS that installed not the server architecture

ii) In my eyes "in case of ambiguosity look for cpu specs on vendor site/wikipedia" is not so ambiguos in itself.
iii) In case you really aren't up to find out your CPU from /proc/cpuinfo and google for its abilities post your /proc/cpuinfo here.
