Question Quick Q, DNS

There is something called Zone file in Unix DNS, where do i find that, is i just called zone??

First of all it depends which nameserver you are running. If you are running BIND, you should look at /etc/named.conf to determine the base directory of your nameserver files. For example, you might see a line that looks like:

directory "/var/named";


So if you look in /var/named you should see the various zone files associated with your [sub]domain.
