I have a Solaris 10 box where password aging is not functioning properly. Using the passwd command with the -l or -u options causes the lastchg field in the /etc/shadow file to be modified. As a part of linux hardening
In shadow file all Application accounts which are not locked must contain only an asterisk “*” in the Passwd field.
But how would i do it by using command?

3rd Field 10063 indicates the number of days (since January 1, 1970) since the password was last changed.

crm_shadow (query|command) [modifiers]
DESCRIPTION
crm_shadow - Perform configuration changes in a sandbox before updating the live cluster.
Sets up an environment in which configuration tools (cibadmin, crm_resource, etc) work offline instead of against a live cluster, allowing
changes to be previewed and tested for side-effects.

-w, --which
Indicate the active shadow copy
-p, --display
Display the contents of the active shadow copy
-E, --edit
Edit the contents of the active shadow copy with your favorite $EDITOR

Commands:
-c, --create=value
Create the named shadow copy of the active cluster configuration
