Secure folder
Probably one of the most basic questions, and probably not even the right one to ask here:

I am running a site on a Unix server, and I want to create a secure folder. This folder should be protected with a password, so that anyone trying to read a html file from it, will be prompted for that password. How do I do that? Is that something I can do through SSH, or do I have to use difficult sripts and all?

You can use the .htaccess method of protecting a directory served by apache. check Apache's web site or search the web for examples (there are lots out there).

This would be one good .htaccess example. ( Probarbaly a tutorial/reference).
