Just a quickie to help me understand this command:
Hi. Im working in AIX. Oracle 9.2.
In one of the backup scripts, I see this:
sysback -f'/dev/rmt0' '-T chrp' '-k mp' -w '/tmpback' 'oradata_vg oraindx_vg ora misc_vg'

The line here, as I know, specifies the device name, the temp file, and the volume groups.
My query regards theses two: '-T chrp' '-k mp' -w

Any ideas?

Oh, and one small matter:
when I use the df -m, I see several columns, most of which I understand. Filesystem MB blocks Free %Used Iused %Iused Mounted on

What does IUsed / %IUsed entail? I have to monitor the USED column daily, and I was just wondering what the " I " Used specifies?

2nd question:
man page shows that -i option is default for mounted FS.
Quote:
Displays the number of free and used i-nodes for the file system; this output is the default when the specified file system is mounted.
AIX df man page

99% sure of the answer below - check man page if you want to verify.

chrp is the system architecture. mp specifies it is the symmetric multiprocessing kernel.
