Hey everyone!
What's the command to check the last time a file was "touched"?

It depends on context, if You want to do it from a program, etc.
On the command line You can use

Code:
ls -lu file.txt

to have it show the time it was last accessed, instead of the last time it was modified, which is the default.

check if stat command is available at your system

also check out the stat system call

if you are using Perl, you can use Perl's in-built function stat

PHP also provides stat function
