how to find root password
Hi

I want to find password of root login. Kindly guide me.

I already another user name/password for system.

I am using sun solaris system.

you can not find the root password. If you need to reset it you will need the solaris disk and mount it to change the root password.

Hi,

boot from your Solaris CD/DVD, mount your bootdisk,
and delete in etc/shadow your root-password. This is
the only way to fix a lost root password.

I want to remind everyone that our rules state:
