Question file sharing
my computer and the rest of my network run Mac OS X , and i was wondering how or if your can transfer files from other computers with the Terminal.

i also wanna know where i can download a free UNIX version and more on the sudo command

to transfer files from the unix command line use ftp,rcp or scp, i presume Mac OS X supports all that.

free versions of unix http://www.linuxiso.org/ you need a cd burner.

www.samba.org is a good place to start for file sharing...

for a free distro of unix/linux... try:

www.mandrake.com
www.redhat.com

or do a search for bsod... or something like that on google.
