/etc/path_to_inst existed all the time but there is not referece to net there

Try "ifconfig -a" now, or "ifconfig le0".

ifconfig -a
lo0: flags=1000849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 8232 index 1 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000
le0: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2 inet 0.0.0.0 netmask ff000000 broadcast 0.255.255.255
ether 8:0:20:79:ee:d7

look closer! le0 not lo0!

do a:

ifconfig le0 plumb
ifconfig le0 yourip .... up
ifconfig -a
# 28
