Question I am in urgent need of all UNIX-derivates...
Hi,

could anybody name all the different UNIX versions, producer, historie, etc?

need a short briefing...

To define the History of Unix and its Variant i dunt think so we could get it Typed in here. I suggest you to try this website.

It haves Details of the all the Unix , Developer & Development Stages ( In Brief Diagram ), Histories and also some Technical Comparison of its Variant.

Also keep in mind that there are "sub-flavors"... for example, that list shows one entry for Linux, although there are dozens, if not hundreds of Linux variants, from big to micro, each slightly different. NetBSD also supports dozens of hardware environments...

I doubt it's even possible to get a complete list - it changes rapidly enough that cataloging them all would be VERY difficult.
