How can I print multiple files in one job?

Does anybody know how I can print multiple files in one print job?

This is what I am doing currently:
enscript file1 file2 file3
[ 1 pages * 1 copy ] sent to printer
[ 1 pages * 1 copy ] sent to printer
[ 1 pages * 1 copy ] sent to printer

I would like it to print like this:
enscript file1 file2 file3
[ 3 pages * 1 copy ] sent to printer

The current behavior normally isn't a problem. However, the system uses three load balancing printers, so when executed frequently (such as in a script) the files will print out of order. If the files are in one job, they should all print in the correct order.

I will provide system details if requested.

Thanks

Jim,

That command succeeds in printing all the files in one print job, however, there are no page breaks in between the files. (although I suppose the code could be modified so that it would be "cat file1 pagebreak character file2 ... | lpr")

I would like to fix this problem by changing how printing is configured, so that other users on the system would also receive the functionality. If anybody has a suggestion on how to change configuration/settings I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you very much for the help, Jim. I will probably solve the problem this way if there are no other solutions.
