umounting a remote disk

Hi

I have one machine running HP Ux and another running Red Hat enterprise.
I mounted one disk from Linux machine to HP Ux machine. Now actually the Linux machine is down. I guess that I had unmounted the disk before Linux machine went down. But now on HP Machine whenever i try "df -k" or "bdf" command it shows "linux(the other machine) not available, still trying" it means that the disk was not unmounted. How I can do it now as I dont rem the name becase right now I am not able to run df -k or bdf.

Thanks
Sidhu
