storage of allias

Hi all...

if i use allias for a particlular command where it stored actually ..Does it do stored in .profile.

What will it be do when i make an entry foa allias in .profile

If you just alias a command on the command line, it gets "stored" in memory. Once you log out, is gone. You have to manually store it in your .profile if you want it to be set every time you log in.
